Failing System : The End of Patriarchy?
The exhibition draws attention to the interrelationships between feminism and the patriarchal power structures that still exist globally today.
Artists from various countries scrutinise this system and formulate a multi-layered critique in their contributions:
They deconstruct biopolitical misconceptions, show visions of a possible feminist future via the leap from human to animal and honestly expose open wounds
free of taboos. Sometimes distanced and analytical, sometimes very personal, the artists approach the boundaries of patriarchal social norms and role expectations from different perspectives. And they show ways to break through them - for more social equality and a fairer future.
